Why is it that some people do not like growing old?

Answer:
In the secular mindset, people consider the state of being old as the stage of becoming useless.
As people begin to reach the age of 35 years-40 years-50 years 60 years- and up wards, people start to become threatened, and some start to become ashamed of the status of their age.
Why?
This kind of mindset (fear of getting old) has been well ingrafted into people’s minds via the industrial system of employment, where employers sett a certain age limit on the people that they use in their work environment.
Yet; when you look at the ancient biblical mindset concerning age, (growing old was a good thing). Growing old or being old, the stage of old age always meant “to be advanced in wisdom”.
The state of being old carried the status of having the knowledge, wisdom, ability to teach, and the authority of being able to pass down the family inheritance of wealth, family business management, and the mantle of success, which was passed down from the elders (older people) to the young ones.
In today’s industrial system which is governed by the school curriculum (educational system) that empowers people into becoming employees, (employees being the people who work for a monthly pay check and salary), the status of old age means the stage of becoming useless to the employer or job giver.
Remember that old age is a good thing to he who runs and manages his own business, old age is also good to he who owns the inheritance of wealth, but to the person who lives on the pay check which is coming from his or her employer, to such a person; the stage of becoming old is a threat and a shame.
