The inner court (being the holy place), was the part of the Tabernacle where the menorah (the seven branch lamp stand), the show bread table with the twelve loaves of bread and the altar of incense were located.
In the holy place (inner court) of the the tabernacle, the priest who served in the tabernacle received their light from the Menorah (seven branch lamp stand).
Because of the animal skin which were used to cover the whole tabernacle, there was a very thick darkness which could not allow the priest to see what the were doing with out light.
In Leviticus 24:1-3 God commanded the children of Israel through Moses to bring pure pressed olive oil, for the priest to use in the lighting of the menorah (seven branch lamp stand), so that the priest may be able to see what they were doing as they were serving on behalf of the congregation of Israel in the Tabernacle of God.
The word “oil” also means “soul or the Ten, tithe attributes of a human soul” in Hebrew.
In within every human soul there are seven emotions. The second part of the tabernacle (inner court or holy place) represented the level of relationship between God and israel, which enabled the people’s 7 emotions (feelings, desires, motives, ideas passion, intimacy etc) to be connected to God’s calendar which contains the twelve months (Show bread table with twelve Loaves of bread), Also being the 12 tribes of Israel.
In the Inner Court (Holy place) There was a show bread Table with twelve loaves of bread, a Menorah (Lamp stand) with 7 Branches, and The Altar of Insense.
The Children of Israel brought Olive oil (offering of their soul or tithe), which was transformed into light via the 7 branch lamp stand-Menorah.
