The age of the vikings around the 8th to 11th century

The ancient warriors that colonized the biggest part of Europe from the 8th century to the 11th century called the Vikings (the Germanic Norse men from Scandinavia ).
These were warriors, pirates and merchants that used to sail in long, narrow, light wooden boats with a shallow draft hull designed for speed.
The Vikings were known for their barbarism violent and uncivilized behavior.
Through their long journeys of sailing, exploring and colonizing other nations, they also managed to reach as far as the North of America, being the first Europeans that came into the continent of America even before the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus.
These Viking warriors came from Scandinavia (which is made up of Sweden , Finland , Norway, iceland and Denmark).
Due to their strong influence that derived from the negative energies of worshiping their pagan gods, the vikings spread their culture and traditions all through Europe and America.
The act of celebrating Yule (Christmas), and having a Yule log, Yule boar, which is referred to as Yule ham or Christmas ham (a big meat of pork or ham, and the singing of Yule singing, christmas carls. The celebrating of Christmas in this manner in the American culture was adapted from the Vikings.
From the Vikings (swedish, danish, Norwegian, icelander) there emerged forth mixture of words. This is where we got the Anglo Saxon, old frisian (old English language) which was later on upgraded into modern English.
The danish vikings (West germanic language) settled in England, and from there the linguistics of their language was transformed into old english.
