“Hippocampus” is the part of the brain which stores up memories.
The part of the brain called “Hippocampus” is where our memories and long time memories are stored up, preserved and kept.
A convoluted, seahorse-shaped structure in the cerebral cortex of the temporal lobe of the brain, composed of two gyri with white matter above gray matter. It forms part of the limbic system and is involved in the processing of emotions and memory.
In the “hippocampus”, every event, experience, frequent habit, teachings, that a person has gone through or received are stored up and kept in the hippocampus.
The hippocampus also stores up memories of one’s history, things like; traditional rituals, cultural behaviors, iniquities, religious activities, desires of one’s fore parents that derive from one’s blood line, relatives, and DNA, are all stored up in the “hippocampus” in form of memories.
And when ever a person is going through a situation where he or she needs encouragement to be able to accomplish something, then these memories come back to life into someone’s brain for the sake of encouraging him, or they can also function as tools of discouragement.
Every memory in the hippocampus can be transformed into dreams, desires and thoughts that has the ability to affect ones emotions, decisions and way of living.
The “Hippocampus”enables people to remember the things that have happened in their life, to recall the street they live on, to memorize things etc.
Good experiences, words of love, encouragment, positive motivation and teachings, has the ability to form a sett of memories that can become signs of good instructions in one’s life.
