In the Holy place, (the first inner section of the Tabernacle) there was a show bread table. And on that show bread table there were 12 loaves of bread which were changed and replaced with fresh new ones every Sabbath day (7th day) as written in Exodus 25:23-30.
Now; my question is, what is the spiritual meaning of these 12 loaves of bread?
The Hebrew word for bread is “Barah”. The Hebrew word “Barah” ( being bread) means;
To teach, to nurture, to mother, to release a revelation of God’s truth or prophetic insight into the lives of those that a bound to God’s mitzvot (commandments) by covenant.
The 12 loaves of bread stands for the 12 tribes of Israel, the 12 Apostles of God, the 12 systems of God’s government and 12 months on God’s calendar.
The replacing and changing of these 12 loaves of bread every 7th day (sabbath), stands for the fresh revelation and presence of God which comes through God’s leadership, teaching and fellowship that takes place on the day which God rested, blessed and sanctified.
