Astronomy
The word astronomy means; the law of the stars which governs the human affairs and events that takes place in the earth.
(from the Greek words astron (ἄστρον), meaning “star” and -nomy from nomos (νόμος), meaning “law” or “culture”) literally means “law of the stars” (or “culture of the stars” depending on the translation).
Astronomy deals more with the scientific aspect of astrology, whereas astrology it’s self is more spiritual in nature.
Astronomy is a natural science that deals with the study of celestial objects (such as stars, planets, comets, nebulae, star clusters and galaxies) and phenomena that originate outside the atmosphere of Earth (such as cosmic background radiation).
It is concerned with the evolution, physics, chemistry, meteorology, and motion of celestial objects, as well as the formation and development of the universe.
The science of Astronomy comes from the ancient (Chaldeans, babylonian, Egyptian,, Greek, Mayan) scientific study of the celestial bodies (planet, stars etc).
LBut during the scientific revolution which was followed by the discovery of the telescope, the western modern science decided to reject the ancient concepts of astronomy.
In the year 1850, new scientific concepts were ushered in into the western modern science.
The science of astronomy was replaced with the theory of big bang, and the science of nature and biology was replaced with the theory of Charles Darwin.
