Answer:
The word Christianity means; a Christian who believes in Jesus Christ and His doctrine or Teachings.
The believers whose ultimate purpose on earth is to serve Jesus as their Messiah (savior and Lord even in the life to come).
The very first believers that were called by this name; Christianity or Christians were in this place called Antioch around the year 40-45 AD (after the death of Christ) according to the book of Acts 11:26.
Paul was the Apostle Elected and called by God to preach the gospel (the scriptures and commandments) that were given to the Jewish nation through Moses to the Gentiles -Nations.
During the year 325 AD, after all the apostle that trained under Yeshau whom the christians call Jesus, had passed away, the Christian movement fell into the hands of the Roman Empire (council of Nicaea).
In the book of Acts 16:20-21 the Romans had already started showing a great resistance and hate towards the Jewsih Gospel of Yeshua preached by the Apostles.
The Emperor of Rome called “Constantine” was the man that transformed the Christian movement into an organization which serves the legislated laws of the council of Nicea (an organization formed to make legislated laws, Canon law, the Byzantine rite, which governed the religious rituals of the Roman catholic Church).
During Constantine’s regime over Rome, the Christians who kept the biblical Jewish feasts of God like the Sabbath, Passover, Pentecost etc, were forced through persecution to give up and forsake all God’s feasts.
And instead Rome decided to give the Christians pagan festivals that the Romans kept as a token of worship to their false gods.
Feasts and pagan days of worship like; Sunday, Christmas, Easter, etc became the main holy days of Christianity.
