In step two we take another separate blank paper, and on this paper we write down all our short comings, our weaknesses in relationships with others, people that we want to forgive including our enemies, our bad habits that we want to change through God’s intervention, our lack of not using God’s wisdom in the area of our finances.
I mean; we write down every thing that needs to be changed and fixed by God in our lives, and through this ten days from the 1st day of the 7th month to the 10th day of this same month, we lift it up before God In prayer, asking for His forgiveness, mercy, and grace so that we may become better, and excel our weaknesses and limitations this coming new year.
After these 10 days are over on the 10th day of Tishrei (the day of atonement) we begin to thank God by faith that He has answered our prayers written on these two lists, the first list we keep for our records, the second list that contained our weaknesses and short comings, we tear it in small pieces and throw them into a dust bin,
And we pray this prayer as we are tearing it up in pieces;
Blessed be the Lord God, the king of the universe who has sanctified us through His commandments and separated us from our sins as far as the east is from the west.
Step 3:
go to step 3 and complete your prayer.
