Martin Luther sharply spoke against the Roman Catholic Church, where he openly discussed about their wrong doings, and the corruption that was taking place at that time among the leaders of the Roman Catholic Church.
In his argument he also stated that the Catholic Church was no longer teaching the people the importance of putting their faith in Jesus Christ as their Messiah.
Martin Luther become famous all over the world because he was one of the men that made the bible accessible to all believers in the poor and high class. He began the revolution of translating the bible to other languages. Translating it from Latin to other common languages, an act that the Catholic church despised and disagreed with.
Martin Luther also encouraged the low class Christian citizens to look at themselves as Kings and priests of God because of what Jesus Christ had accomplished for their lives through His death and resurrection.
The protestant movement was a movement which believed and moved in the gifts of the spirit (as in the book of Acts), but after years had gone by, the spirit (Holy presence) of God dispeared from the movemnt because of the hatred of the Jews (Israel) that Martin Luther promoted in his writings called “the lies of the Jews”.
Martin Luther the founder of the protestant movement was an Anti-semite, his writtings (book called “lies of the Jews”) inspired and mentored Adolf Hitler.
During the regime of Hitler (2nd world war), Hitler refered to Martin Luther as a great leader and an inspirer of his work.
Examples of denominations within Protestantism include the Lutheran , Calvinist ( Reformed , Presbyterian ), Methodist , Baptist , and Adventist churches.
