What is love?
The phrase love is love certainly means you don’t care about what may come your way for as long as you love someone.
Jealousy isn’t love, nor is it evidence of love.
Love can be an emotional feeling which compiles up the attributes of trust, care, mutual respect, forgiveness, intimancy, kindness, closeness, friendship, generosity, exchange, sharing, giving etc,
which are compiled together in their United and collective form, which is defined as love.
Some possible definitions of love include:
A willingness to prioritize another’s well-being or happiness above your own.
Extreme feelings of attachment, affection, and need.
Dramatic, sudden feelings of attraction and respect.
A fleeting emotion of care, affection, and like which puts people into the state of giving, sharing, exchanging, daring to trust the person they have fallen in love with.
1 Corinthians 13:8
Love never fails.
But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
Love is a transmission of positive energy:
When a person loves someone, he/she will choose to speak good about that person, refuses to express suspicious thoughts of jealousy,
and because of that emotional state of love, it also becomes easier to prophetically prophesy good things,
extend prayers of love, acts of agreement and blessings into the life of the person who is loved.
Why is it hard for humans to give love and also find it difficult to express love via its true essence?
On a psychological level:
It can become easier for humans to love things, pets and people whom they feel that they have a sense of ownership and control which is exercised via jealousy.
<A wife loving her husband because she feels that she owns and controls him>
The culture of survival has put humans into categories of clubs, social groupings, traditions, limited companies, races, political parties, etc.
When people who belong to a certain group of cultivated interests feel like they own you, they will then take a risk of loving you,
But the moment they feel, suspect or sense that you do not belong to their agenda (expectations of genetic interests),
you will then start to see their countenance falling towards that person.
John 3:16:
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Without God’s true love, one can not be able to extend God’s spiritual inheritance, and covenant blessings from one person to another.
True love will express it’s self towards others with the aim of improving, sharing, giving, intimancy, being compassionate, kind, expressing acts which brings about positive change in one’s life etc,
without allowing the limitations of suspicion, racism, jealousy, bad report, gossip, descrimination, prejudice, to affect one’s decisions, promises and choices which are made out of love.
