The miracle of crossing the red sea took place on the seventh day of the celebration of the feast of unleavened bread.
On the seventh day of Passover (Spring time), counting from the time when Israel came out from Egypt, the congregation of Israel reached the shores of the Red sea.
And at that exact time Israel needed another miracle from God, because when they looked behind, they saw the army of Egypt pursuing after them, and in front of them was the Red seas Exodus 14:9-12.
After the children of Israel had come out of Egypt, they began their journey toward mountain Sinai (50th day) where God was going to give them His Torah laws.
The Red sea was a pail of water which was blocking Israel from continuing their journey.
But when God performed a miracle for them, that same Red sea become a separation point, baptism via water which enabled them to go through an entrance or a door way that could not let their enemies continue their mission of pursuing after them.
The Red sea killed all the army of Egypt, but on the side of Israel, the waters of the Red sea parted to give way to God’s people Exodus 14:28-31.
Song of Victory:
After the crossing of the Red sea, Israel sang a song of victory led by Moses, and Miriam led the women as they danced and rejoiced--song written in Exodus 15:1-21.
