Week 7: Malchut – Majesty/Dignity:
Omer counting day 47.
Humility – Majesty (the Humility/Devotion side of Majesty) Hod – Malchut in Hebrew.
Each and every individual was created by God so that he or she may reach the level of Sovereignty (the status of dominion, power, or authority of a sovereign; royalty).
But yet this same level of authority can become a dangerous place if someone in leadership lacks the character of humility.
Through the aspect of Hod (humility and devotion) of Malchut (majesty and dignity) you investigate you sovereignty to find out if you are devoted and humble towards God who gave you this gift.
Ask yourself:
Am I arrogant in my leadership?
Am I receptacle towards the wise counsel that my spiritual leaders give to me?
Do I listen to the opinions of my spiritual leaders or do I insist on doing things in my own way?
Exercise of the day:
Do something or give an offering as a token of appreciation to your spiritual leaders.
