The story of Boaz and Ruth reflects the intimate relationship (counting of Omer), which begins from Passover (spring time) and finishes in the beginning of summer, end of Spring (Pentecost—Shavout).
During this period of Time, Boaz; a Jew from whence the lineage of king David descends from, noticed the virtuous values of a gentile woman called “Ruth” who derived from the lineage of the Moabites.
Ruth worked in the fields of Boaz, beginning from spring time (Passover -Barley harvest), and worked until the wheat harvest which falls on Pentecost summer time, thus leading to the marriage of Boaz and Ruth as in Ruth1:22 & Ruth 2:2123.
After the counting of the seven weeks (Omer counting), on the 50th day of Shavuot (pentecost), their plans of marriage were conformed and sealed.
In Ruth 4:17-22; Boaz and Ruth begot Obed; Obed begot Jesse, and Jesse begot King David. And from the lineage of King David, the Messiah and Savior of the world known as (Yeshua Hamashiac), whom the Christians call Jesus was given to the world as a blessing from God or Lamb of God which takes a way the sins of humanity.
