Intellect is a term used in studies of the human mind, and refers to the ability of the mind to come to correct conclusions about what is academically right or real, and about how to solve problems. Historically the term comes from the Greek philosophical term nous, which was translated into Latin as intellectus (derived from the verb intelligere) and into French (and then English) as intelligence.
The intellect of a person who has studied in the academy of the western world or those who are colonized by the western world,
He reasons and solves problems, and also defines what is wrong or right according to the philosophical ideology which has designed the western intellect.
Intellect is the ability of a conscious which enables the mind to put together accumulated (studied or learned academic) information for the sake of reasoning, solving problems or discussing different issues.
