The pagan form of Joy and happiness

The pagan rituals of worshiping many gods began to introduce their followers who sought after hapiness, joy and inner peace, to the act of drinking alcohol (the consumption of many spirits), Which led to the extreme uncontrollable state of gay…
And this was done for the sake of trying to get the people’s thoughts off their worries, fears, weaknesses, negative thoughts, and insecurities, so that they may attain to the confidence that they desired.
When the people got drank (being in the state of ecstatic frenzy with the maenad), they could dare to do things which they could have not done in their normal senses.
The pagan god called Bacchus (the god of alcohol mixing and drinking, the maenad), became the source of happiness in the western culture.
Musicians, theatrical actors, dancers used to get drank (use drugs) in the name of the Maenad and the pagan god called Bacchus, so that may posses the confidence of being able to perform.
In the ancient times; deities in the form idols or material things were sold as items that could increase Joy via the pagan ritual of worshiping them as gods.
