Imitation – to imitate

Imitation is an advanced behavior whereby an individual observes and replicates another’s behavior.
Imitation is also a form of social learning that leads to the “development of traditions, and ultimately our culture.
It allows for the transfer of information (behaviours, customs, etc.) between individuals and down generations without the need for genetic inheritance.”
: to make or do something the same way as (something else) <to imitate the characteristics of a role model>
Politician are known for making public accusations, insult, competition and arguments towards each other, which are used as a form of media entertainment designed to formulate the traits of imitation in those viewing the media programs.
: to do the same thing as (someone) : to copy (someone’s or something’s behavior, sound, appearance, etc.)
To follow as a pattern, model or example… <teenagers are good at imitating celebrities as their role models>
The word imitation can be applied in many contexts, ranging from animal training to international politics.
