There is going to be four bloody moons appearances, the first one took place on April 15th 2014.

The so-called “Blood Moon” appeared the night of early hours of April 15, 2014, commencing a lunar “tetrad.”

This blood moon occurred on the full moon of the celebration of the Jewish Passover of 2014.

Tuesday’s blood moon came right on the time for the Jewish holiday of Passover, which commemorates the ancient Israelites’ exodus from slavery in Egypt. 

According to the Bible, God cast 10 plagues upon the Egyptians, the final plague being the death of the firstborn. 

The Israelites painted lamb’s blood on their doorways so that this plague would pass over their homes.

The cycle continues for more than a year all the way through to Sept. 28, 2015 when the fourth and final Blood Moon will take place.

The four blood moons will occur in roughly six-month intervals on the following dates: April 15, 2014 – passover; October 8, 2014 – Sukkot; April 4, 2015 – passover, and September 28, 2015 – Sukkot.

Next blood moon will be 10/08/2014, the next after that will be on 04/04/2015, the after that will fall 9/28/2015.
