Protocol of a meeting

The order in which the meeting is going to be carried out.
The effectiveness of the meeting will also depend on the protocol of that meeting. Meetings with out protocols always end up being disorderly, ineffective and a waste of time.
The protocol of a meeting consists of:
1* The purpose or vision of the meeting (hands out or ref lets containing the vision handed out to those that attended the meeting).
2* The coordinator of the meeting
3* The members (partners, those who are committed to the work) in the meeting and how they will be introduced.
(The introduction of the members – Partners sets the order and also signals the reflection of integrity, respect, trustworthy, unity, collaboration, and professionalism to those who are observing or listening). Get rid of the one man’s show attitude or profile…
The main members or speakers introduced according to their ranks, achievements, participation and engagement.
4* The introduction of the guests who are attending the meeting, also allowing them to do a small presentation of themselves, (this is always done if a meeting is small, consisting a few attends).
5* The presentation of the meeting and those who are involved in the work. Such protocols and presentations motivates those who are not fully involved to also commit themselves into the work.
6* The writing down of what took place in the meeting, and the distribution of it.
