Tzadik/Zadik/Sadiq [tsaˈdik] (Hebrew: צדיק, “righteous one”, pl. tzadikim [tsadiˈkim] צדיקים ṣadiqim) is a title given to personalities in Jewish tradition considered righteous, such as Biblical figures and later spiritual masters.
The root of the word ṣadiq, is ṣ-d-q (צדק tzedek), which means “justice” or “righteousness”, also the root of tzedakah (‘charity’, literally ‘righteousness’).
The feminine term for a righteous person is tzadeikas.
The hebrew word “Tsadik” means righteous, justice, priest or levitical order.
(The levitical order being the form of order in which the Israelites gave their tithes, offerings into God’s temple (tabernacle) and also lived, ate foods and behaved in a moral way which dedicated their bodies as a living temple for God in the earth).
From this word “Tsadik” roots or comes forth the word called “Sadakah Tzedakah”.
The word “sadakah” means; to give charity, to do a mitzvah, to give an offering or to sacrifice something, which brings someone’s identity into the status or merit of being worthy of reward, justification, found worthy of praise or finding favor from God.
Sadakah; to do charitable work in a community, to do godly or good deeds or to carry out a philanthropic project.
Tsadik, which means; righteous, hunt, side, also this alphabet letter is equivalent to the number 90.
