Interregnum – What is the meaning of the word interregnum

Interregnum was the state of emergency from whence the office of a president emerged forth or originated from.
When the death of a great ruler took place, the kingdom or empire which lost a ruler entered into a realm called “interregnum” or state of emergency“.
Interregnum is when a contest (argument) for the throne occurred.
Interregnum; The period when those who hate the decisions of the dead ruler arose to start conflict, argument, opposition and rebellion against the new ruler who is about to be inaugurated.
And because the arguments and opposition coming from different opposers, a temporary ruler (president) was always put into place by the administration board of the dead leader.
Interregnum is also the state of emergency when the colonial masters in some of the African countries were forced to give the black Africans their independence.
After the granting of independence, the colonial masters had already prepared presidents who were well trained to serve as faithful servants of the colonial masters.
A president was put into force, to rule the people with a hand of iron, for the sake of keeping them dependent upon their colonial master’s will.
Each country that gained it’s independence, became a nation which was put under the governance of a president.
