Fruit – What is the meaning of the word fruit

A fruit is a plant which contains it’s nature in the seed or seeds which are concealed in that plant.
A fruit is that which is sweet to one’s taste, sweet could also mean that which give pleasure to one’s soul
Any product of plant growth useful to humans or animals.
the developed ovary of a seed plant with its contents and accessory parts, as the pea pod, nut, tomato, orange, mango, jackfruit, banana, peach, mulberry, or pineapple.
Anything produced or accruing; product, result, or effect; return or profit:
the fruits of one’s labors. To bear or cause to bear fruit:
That which gives pleasure to a soul of a king.
Kings eat fruits for the sake of stimulating pleasure out of them, whereas slaves eat fruits for the sake of satisfying their flesh from hunger.
There is a saying that says; at the table of a king there are all different types or manner of fruits (physical fruits and including different types of shows of entertainment) which are designed to give pleasure to the king.
That which gives pleasure or stimulate the desire of wanting to have pleasure is considered to be a fruit.
Song of Solomon 4:16 let my beloved come to his garden and eat his pleasant fruit or the fruit that gives him pleasure
Song of Solomon 2:3 so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down in his shade and his fruit was sweet to my taste….
There is a Torah teaching that declares; man was created by God to discover the fruit (pleasure) which is concealed in the holy acts of keeping God’s laws.
During the feast of Sukkot, all different types of fruits (pleasures, that which is sweet unto one’s taste) were all gathered to be offered as an offering unto God. In fact that is why a sukkah is decorated with all different types of fruits during the feast of tabernacles.
