Multicultural -What does the word multicultural mean?

Multicultural is a society where you have a mixture of different cultures, religions, ethnic groups, traditions, dwelling together in a suburb or region.
Relating to, or representing several different cultures or cultural elements.
Consisting of, or designed for the cultures of several different races.

In the western part of the world:
This mixture of different people who settled in the different parts Europe evolved from the immigrants who came into Europe seeking refugee, looking for a better life, looking for jobs, and some of these foreigners were the victims who came to Europe and America through slavery.

Most of these immigrants ended up finding shelter in such places which are located in the suburbs and regions that were segregated and neglected.

Prejudice:
Due to the fact that most of these foreigners who came from South America, Asia, Africa, and the middle east, were already considered as a lower or degenerated race of people by the European ideologies of Darwinism, Adolf Hitler, scientific racism and colonialism, this made it hard for most of these foreigners to be able to integrate themselves into the western society.

Racism 
The different western movements of racism also played a big role of magnifying the western prejudice against foreigners into the state of hostility and hatred towards the non European foreigners.

As time went by a mixture of biological traits (foreigners mixing with the ethnic Europeans, some mixing with other races from the different parts of the world) through sexual intercourse started bringing forth a breed of a mixed a race.

Multiculturalism: 
Multiculturalism became the political policy which came about via the government effort of trying to solve the different social problems which occurred in a multicultural society.
