Community plural – communities
A community is a unified body of people which possess traits, ideas, opinions, cultural behaviours, desires, thoughts, emotions, ideologies, doctrines that enables the members to communicate their intentions, motives, aim, thoughts, feelings and values to each other.
The word community roots from the word “communication ot to communicate”.
b : the people with common interests living in a particular area; broadly : the area itself <the problems of a large community>
c : an interacting population of various kinds of individuals (as species) in a common location.
A social group of any size whose members reside in a specific locality, share government, and often have a common cultural and historical heritage.
On psycological level:
Members in a community can be affected negatively or positively depending the kind of behaviours or activities that the members engage themselves into.
Immoral behaviours send forth energies which can affect the community negatively, whereas positive human traits are known for producing positive energies that can benefit the community in a positive way (read the article called psycology sublimation).
In the generation of Internet; the word community has advanced into the interactions of (sharing of information, subscribing to membership, SMSing, chatting, social interactions, social networking etc), which takes place among people via community sites that provides services of social interaction and social media.
d : a group of people with a common characteristic or interest living together within a larger society
e : a group linked by a common policy
Governing principle of a community:
A person who doesn’t abide to the rules and regulations of the community where he or she have subscribed for membership, that person can suffer the risk of becoming excommunicated from the benefits of the community.
f : a body of persons or nations having a common history or common social, economic, and political interests <the international community>
g : a body of persons of common and especially professional interests scattered through a larger society <the academic community>
