Matthew 24:40 – 41
Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left.
Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.
The 5 wise Virgins have oil for the menorah lamp:
Matthew 25:1
“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom….
Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps
Where does the story of bringing oil or having oil in the lamp derive it’s origin from in the old testament?
Exodus 27:20
[ The Care of the Lampstand ] “And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp (seven branch menorah) to burn continually.
The always brought the oil to God’s temple or tabernacle on God’s appointed time or holy feasts:
Ezekiel 20:12
12 Moreover I also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between them and Me, that they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them.
Enter into God’s kingdom & Heavenly presence through the gates:
Ezekiel 46:3 declares;
Likewise the people of the land shall worship at the entrance to this gateway before the Lord on the Sabbaths and the New Moons.
Revelation 22:14
Blessed are those who keep God’s commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates
Revelation 21:10-12
…and He showed me a great city, the Holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God….
Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve of the children of Israel..
God’s Sabbaths continues into the new heaven & new Earth:
Isaiah 66:22-23
declares concerning the new heaven and the new earth….And it shall come to pass That from one New Moon to another, And from one Sabbath to another, All flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the Lord.
Blowing of God’s trumpet during God’s Sabbaths and rapture:
Psalm 81:3
Blow the trumpet at the time of the New Moon, At the full moon, on our solemn feast day.
1 Corinthians 15:51-52:
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.
For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
The Scripture reveals unto to us that the rapture will take place in one of the holy seasons or appointed feasts of God, during the time when the shoffar trumpet is blown.
