God create us to be unique, so that we can contribute to the development of our society or community via our unique identities.
Where did this desire of being equal come from?
During the period of colonialism, when Europe was colonising the different parts of the world, this is when this term equal, which turned into equal rights came from.
Divide and rule:
The Colonial masters used to divide the victims that they were colonising into different groups.
They took one group among the tribes of the nations which they have colonised and showed more favour to it by giving it higher positions of prestige and leadership over the other tribes.
After exalting one group of people over the other, they then started to plant information of discord by telling the other groups to fight for their equal rights.
As one group was working hard to be better than the others, these other groups were also fighting to gain that status of being equal.
Competition, hate, discrimination, prejudice, conspiration, political parties of oppositions and conflicting against each other became the end result.
God never created us to be equal, God created us to be unique.
Let us go back into the status of discovering our unique identity, so that we can start to use our unique contribution to compliment each other, mutual exchange, mutual respect and also use our unique contribution to cover up each others weaknesses by servicing the needs of our community.
