2 Corinthians 10:4-6
4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,
5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
Ephesians 4:23
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind
Romans 7:23
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Who are these members?
The members are the body organs like the brain, which sends signals of information to other parts of the members of the body.
James 4:1
[ Pride Promotes Strife ]
Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?
Romans 8:5:
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their spiritual mind on the things of the Spirit.
Romans 8:27:
Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
The importance of forgiveness:
When the members of the body are offended, upset and hateful, then one needs to forgive so as to enable one’s prayers and the spiritual mind of God’s will to influence one’s psychological mindset, and the fruit of the spirit, so that God may be able to use that individual in the area of influencing the collective consciousness of the universe.
Matthew 6:15:
But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
When the psychological status of one’s mind has taken a decision to forgive and reconcile itself back into God’s will,
then all over sudden the person starts to see visions, dreams and also have thoughts which reflect the positive possibilities (fruit of the Spirit) that can become as a result in the lives of the reconciled relationship.
But when a person refuses to forgive, then that same person becomes a prisoner to his/her own primitive brain.
