The European Council is a collective body that defines the European Union’s overall political direction and priorities.
The EC maintains a collective vision, goal and mission on how the policies that will administrate the developing countries should be administered:
The European Council of Dublin met under the presidency of Liam Cosgrave, Irish Prime Minister, with the participation of Heads of State and Government of the EC member states.
The Council marked its agreement on the Community budget.
Other questions discussed were the relations between the EC and New Zealand, the economic and social situation of the EC, the problems of raw materials within the framework of relations with developing countries, and lastly the problems of energy policy in the EC.
EC (European Council) is used as a proto type structure that discusses the interests and solutions, it also reflects the political structure that Europe wants to administrate over the nations they have colonized.
The frame work or structure of the EC parliamentary design is used as a proto type which is susposed to reflect the presidential rule (the setting up of presidents – office of executive) which will run and govern the developing countries that are under the colonial control of Europe.
Using it as form of setting an example:
Presidents are elected in the EC as a form of leadership structure, which eventually becomes the standard that is held and kept by the developing countries that are colonized by the west.
The President of the European Council is a principal representative of the European Union (EU) on the world stage, and the person presiding over and driving forward the work of the European Council.
This institution comprises the college of heads of state or government of EU member states as well as the President of the European Commission, and provides political direction to the European Union (EU).
From 1975 to 2009, the head of the European Council was an unofficial position (often referred to as the President-in-Office) held by the head of state or government of the member state holding the semiannually rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union at any given time.
The president elected must be able to fully benefit the agenda of the organization and at his election all the member state of the European Union must be present.
