Our first approach which brought us to God was that which derive from the physical state of desperateness.
We came to God because we needed a place of (refugee, a hospital), a place to run to, to find healing, deliverance, and love.
A place which could hide us from the cruel evil storms of this world.
And that place became the church (the church became our hospital).
And most of the people have not overgrown that type of love and expectations which makes them think that God exists for the sake of giving them what they want.
To most of the churches, God has become a Christmas Santa Claus, One who gives gifts to the selfish attitudes of the people’s wants and selfish requirements.
What is the purpose of God’s love?
God’s aim and purpose why He loves us, is because He wants us also to reflect his love in our communities.
Community building, developing & sustaining:
The type of love that does good with the aim of developing communities, getting rid of poverty, creating jobs, designing, business structures that reflects God’s moral integrity and value, establishing organizations which play the role of finding positive solutions to the challenges that confront communities, family, relationships, marriages,
and also inspiring governments to constitute laws that defend people’s human rights etc.
Matthew 5:16:
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Elected ministers in a ministry (church) must serve with the aim of inspiring and teaching their church members to become servants that serves and solves the needs of their community.
Here below are scriptures which pertains to this study:
Read about Pastors and ministers who focused only on giving out God’s miracles (turning God into a Santa Claus), and How Yeshua addressed these ministers.
Moses’ ministry is elevated from the state of just being a hospital, into that status of upgrading into a place that trains and elects faithful leaders and ministers.
