For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.

Judges 2:13:

They forsook the Lord and served Baal and the Ashtoreths.

Judges 10:6:

[ Israel Oppressed Again ]

Then the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the Lord, and served the Baals and the Ashtoreths, the gods of Syria, the gods of Sidon, the gods of Moab, the gods of the people of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines; and they forsook the Lord and did not serve Him.

1 Kings 11:33:

because they have forsaken Me, and worshiped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the people of Ammon,

and have not walked in My ways to do what is right in My eyes and keep My statutes and My judgments, as did his father David.

Jeremiah 7:18 (NKJV):

18 The children gather wood, the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead dough, to make cakes for the queen of heaven;

and they pour out drink offerings to other gods, that they may provoke Me to anger

The women also said, “And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven and poured out drink offerings to her, did we make cakes for her, to worship her, and pour out drink offerings to her without our husbands’ permission?”

The Roman goddess called Diana was a copied imitation of Ashtoreth:

Acts 19:27:

So not only is this trade of ours in danger of falling into disrepute, but also the temple of the great goddess Diana may be despised and her magnificence destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worship.”

Acts 19:35:

And when the city clerk had quieted the crowd, he said:

“Men of Ephesus, what man is there who does not know that the city of the Ephesians is temple guardian of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Zeus?
