Curing insomnia

Speaking from experience, Insomnia is a terrible terrible thing. The mind is racing and you just cannot get to sleep. Here are some ways to cure Insomnia.
For those of you who do not know what insomnia is or if you are trying to figure out if you have insomnia…Insomnia is the difficulty of staying asleep or getting to sleep, or having non-refreshing sleep for at least 1 month.
What are the causes of Insomnia?
Insomnia can be caused by many different things, but there are four main causes that most people deal with, which are known as Primary Insomnia:
- Alcohol
- Anxiety
- Coffee
- Stress
You can also experience insomnia through a medical condition, this is called “secondary insomnia”. The most common medical condition is “depression.” You should definitely seek medical help if you are dealing with this type of insomnia.
What are the Symptoms?
- Difficulty falling asleep on most nights
- Feeling tired during the day or falling asleep during the day
- Not feeling refreshed when you wake up (feeling like you got no sleep)
- Waking up several times during sleep
Often people with primary insomnia continue thinking about falling asleep, but the more they think about it, the more they become frustrated and stressed, which makes it even more difficult to fall asleep.
