Mr Tumnus with the goat legs- two horns and the funny looking ears on his head is god who was worshiped for his skills of wine mixing, drunkenness and madness. He went by the name of Bacchus.

He was the god who influences people into the act of miss behaving sexually, participating in group sex, wild parties, and the evil acting of human sacrifice. 

In the movie of Narnia; Mr Tumnus is one of the heroes who goes to war to fight against the bad guys thus making him into the children favorite character.
