50th independence of Uganda in Stockholm:
The former candidate who ran for the presidential office in Uganda 2011-Samuel Lubega, urged the Ugandans in foreign countries to involve themselves in the political affairs of Uganda.
(let us work together, so that we may overcome the dictatorship that is plaguing our nation Uganda).
We need to open up a political space which makes the Ugandans to recognize that; Ugandans have got a state in their politics which is located in their own country, and that is through the federal project or agreement.
The federal agreement is not just an import, but it is something that the Ugandan’s inherited from their great grand fathers, and passed down through 1962 independence of Uganda.
If we as Ugandans want to be “a free federal democratic nation”, we must sacrifice and fight for our human rights that derives from 1962 Federal agreement.
But On the other hand; we also need to restore the human rights of our people, the mistreatment, the arresting, the beating, and the torturing that is going on against the journalists, district leaders who are trying to speak out; that occupation of brutal mistreatment must stop!
The people of Uganda have waken up, “let us rise up and realize the dream of Uganda that is achieved through the mutual respect and reconciliation based on the federal agreement“.
