Week 4: Netzach – Victory/Endurance/Determination:
Omer counting day 25.
Victory – Endurance (the Victory/Endurance/Determination side of Endurance) Netzach – Netzach in Hebrew.
Victories in Life comes out of the ability of being able to endure, and a strong determination to see your self accomplish what you began.
Because the capacity for you to able to endure hard situations lies in within the sacrifice that you are determined to give for the sake of accomplishing your goal.
When you set your mind on buying your first car, your are also committing yourself to the driving school that will teach you how to drive.
When you set your mind on getting married, you are also committing your faithfulness to your wife.
When you set your mind on loosing weight, you are also committing yourself to the life of willing to change your diet from eating foods that are full of fat to the place where your are willing to learn a new way of eating.
In other words your endurance is a place of determination, and a strong desire to learn new ways as you’re sacrificing your time, money, bad habits and ways of doing things so that you may attain to the victory and the accomplishment of your goal.
Ask yourself:
Am I always willing to sacrifice my opinions, my habits, and money for the sake of learning new ways that will help me to accomplish my goals, or am I always argumentative, and self-centered to the extent that I loose the desire of willing to give up my own ways of doing things and thinking?
Exercise of the day:
Do something new with an attitude of willing to learn, listen, and obey and also be willing to show appreciation to the one that you are learning from.
