The word female comes from the Latin femella, the diminutive form of femina, meaning “woman”. In Hebrew the word for female is “Isha“.
Female (♀) is the sex of an organism, or a part of an organism, which produces non-mobile ova (egg cells). Most female mammals, including human females, have two X chromosomes.
A common symbol used to represent the female sex is ♀ (Unicode: U+2640 Alt codes: Alt+12), a circle with a small cross underneath.
A female individual cannot reproduce sexually without access to the gametes of a male (an exception is parthenogenesis).
Although most species with male and female sexes have individuals that are either male or female, hermaphroditic animals have both male and female reproductive organs.
The Hebrew word for female (woman) is called “Barah”.
The hebrew word “Barah” means; Bread, to mother, to nurture, to mold wheat or the dough into physical bread, to teach, to transform the seed of the male into physical feelings, and emotions that posses the ability to stimulate and influence nature.
The Female attribute plays the role of activating the energies of stimuli, which stimulates the emotions, feelings and erotic pressence in nature.
In the Jewish culture it is said; “the male figure brings the wheat (seed) at home, and the female forms it into physical bread that nurtures the body”.
Genesis 2:23- Adam (male) said; she is the bone of my bones and the flesh (emotions, feelings) of my flesh I shall call her woman (female)…
