When you send a private message, it is only the person you have sent it to who will be able to see it. 

The tick box some times is at the right hand side, some times it ends up on the left hand side of hand depending on your internet browser.

All the other members in the forum conversation won’t be able to see what you have written…..

(Private message option) is a good option to use when you are sending private information.
