The Akkadian counterpart of Inanna was Ishtar, and the Canaanite equivalent was Astarte, who was accepted by the Greeks under the name of Aphrodite and the Roman equivalent was Venus.
Ashtoreth is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible as a goddess, the principal goddess of the Sidonians.
She is the goddess of carnal love & carnal sex, who perverts and diverts the erotic energies by taking them away from their original godly purpose,
by transforming these erotic energies into perverted unclean stimuli which elevates sex magic, witchcraft, prostitution, and in today’s generation her ways are revealed in pornographic movies, pornographic music videos, etc.
Ishtar (Ashtoreth, Easteroth, Inanna, Venus, Astarte) was the goddess of love, immoral sexual passions and war, above all associated with sexuality: her cult involved sacred prostitution.
As Eve was deceived and tempted into the act of eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil during the month of Nisan, being the season of springtime (month of March /April),
so it is with goddess Ishtar, her mandate is to continue the same act of immorality, (being the sin which was committed in the garden of Eden by Eve and Adam) in the earth.
The quote describing goddess Ishtar:
“Woe to him whom Ishtar had honored! The fickle goddess treated her passing lovers cruelly. These unhappy wretches (lovers) usually paid dearly for the favors heaped on them. They were enslaved, used, out drained of their seed (semen-sperm) and then destroyed by goddess Ishtar”.
According to the pagan rituals of the Canaanite, Roman, Greek, Babylonian, Christian-catholic religion, every woman was obligated to learn the strategies of goddess Ishtar via the ritual practice of sacred prostitution.
Ishtar: She is the worshiped feminine nature of Eve’s sin committed in the Garden of Eden, which is transmitted into the human traits via the pagan spring celebration of Easter.
In the book of Revelation 17:1-18 she is called Mystery Babylon the great, The mother of harlots and of the abomination of the earth who made the kings, merchants and the people of the earth.
to commit adultry, fornication, pre-marital sex, sexual immorality, sex magic, etc…
