Platonic love is a definition used to define the most correct use of love, which is cultivated with the aim of directing one’s mind (imagination, intentions, passions, thoughts of erotic, sexual desires) to love of divinity.

Because love is a devine attribute, love was given to humanity as an essence of fuel, when ever it’s practiced, power is also given back to the One whom you are crowning or worshiping as a spiritual being.

Human beings can give love to empower evil (negative realm), which is made up of the satanic forces, and that tyoe of love is known as immoral love

But on the other side of the coin;

humans have the devine ability to give love that leads to the empowering of the positive realm of God’s devine presence, which derives from the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and that love is known as morality.

Even animals themselves physically engage into the act of having sex via body contact,

And through sexual intercourse they impregnate the female and also give birth.

What Plato describes as “pregnancy of the body” is entirely carnal and seeks pleasure and beauty in bodily form only.

This is the type of love, that, according to Socrates, is practiced by animals.

As the the fact still stands that the body will die and return to the dust, so it is with carnal love which is aided and motivated only by the pleasure of the flesh in bodily form.

This type of love which is purely motivated by the outer beauty of the body, the energies (of erotic, pleasure, erection, orgasm, euphoria) in that  love, becomes a prisoner to the body which will eventually die and return to the dust.

The focus and agenda of platonic love:

Platonic love is purely focused on the beauty of  one’s soul which is revealed through prophetic truth and wisdom of God’s word.

As one’s desire matures up into the state of wanting to know or to conceive the truth, then all over sudden, the attribute of love (desire, passion, feminine, erotic, attribute of intimancy) in that person’s soul begins to crave and desire to connect with another soul which will reveal and expose that truth.
