The Mediterranean Sea is the body of water that separates Europe, Africa and Asia.
The Mediterranean Sea is connected to the Atlantic Ocean by a narrow passage called the Strait of Gibraltar.
The River Nile pouring its waters into the Mediterrean sea:
The waters from the source of the River Nile which is located in Uganda, flows from Uganda and passes through south Sudan, Sudan and Egypt, and then pours into the meditterrean sea.
The sea is almost completely surrounded by land, On the north by Europe,
On the south by North Africa,
and on the east by the Middle East.
The countries surrounding the Mediterranean in clockwise order are Spain, France, Monaco, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco; Malta and Cyprus are island countries in the sea.
And because the seas is also connected to the antlatic ocean, so its waters also stretch as far as the countries where the Atlantic ocean spreads its water flows.
