What is the purpose of counting the Omer?
We count the Omer for the sake of investigating the inner motives and desires of our emotions.
Some times our emotions can deceive us in thinking and lusting after the things that we really do not need, and through this act; one begins to reject, to resent, to ignore, to condemn and abuse the things and the relationships that you really need.
