The inner court (being the holy place, also called the sanctuary), was the part of the Tabernacle where the menorah (the seven branch lamp stand), the show bread table with the twelve loaves of bread and the altar of incense were located as in Hebrews 9:2.

What was the meaning of lighting the menorah during the time when God’s temple was still standing?
Answer; During the time when the temple of God was still standing, the priest of God who served in the temple used to take the olive oil pressed out of the olives, and used it to light the menorah light which gave light in the temple.
