That which is entrusted, bestowed or given into someone’s life via the art of oral speech. (God commanded Adam not to eat from the tree of Knowledge of good and evil 
Gen 2:17 , and Adam spoke orally to Eve, so that he may illustrate, teach, disciple and transmit what God said). 


Oral law; meaning to orally speak words of instructions, moral teachings, and the prophecies which pertains to someone’s moral and spiritual purpose.
God’s oral law went from Adam to Seth, from Seth it was spoken orally into Enosh’s life. From Enosh it was passed down to Jared, from Jared the oral law of God was passed down to Enoch, from Enoch it was spoken into the life of Methuselah. 


From Methuselah it went to Lamech and from Lamech it was passed down to Noah as it is written in (Gen 5:1-32).


Noah spoke the oral law and moral teachings of God into Shem’s life, Shem and his father Noah taught it into the life of Abraham.
(Noah was still alive during the time when Abraham was dwelling in the land of Ur of the Chaldeans)

The Oral law: Moses commanded it verbally to Joshua and the congregation of Israel saying; Make sure you observe every thing that I proscribe to you. And from that point the Jewish Oral law began to take shape.

The written Torah (five books of Moses) did not have power on it’s own with out the Oral law. 
During the exile of Israel in Babylon, the Jewish Oral law was compiled up and written in the Talmud.
