The word reckon means to count, to give a number or to mark a commodity (product) with a number or numbers. (farmers put numbers on all their live stocks that they own–as soon as a their live stocks give birth, then the babies are numbered).
This same word “Reckon” means to make calculations, to settle account, to give somebody an account where he or she can deposit and withdraw.
To put someone’s strength (income or salary) under the system of monetary, debt, interest rate, taxation or control.
To accept or to recogonize somebody because he/she is playing by the rules that governs the system of economics and trade.
To put a barcode on a product. To take the people through a procedure of a census.
